Motichur 1st Part by Begum Rokeya is a Bangla article book or Bangla Probondho which is written by Begum Rokeya.She is one of the great and popular Bangladeshi female pioneer writers.
She started writing from about 1903 and she was writing under the name of Mrs. R S Hossain.
About The Author:
Begum Rokeya Sakhawat Hossain wrote upon women to protest against injustices and she tried to break the social barriers that are discriminated against them.
Begum Rokeya was born in a Muslim family and this family was followed with strictly the Pardah and they are set of social rules. In that time women were secluded from society.
However, Rokeya Sakhawat got much support from her brothers and husband.
This support would give her the strength to persevere through the harsh criticism and this support inspires her to become the author of several great Bangla books.
Later Begum Rokeya Sakhawat open a school for girls for increasing girls awareness.
